Welcome to JLD Farms Soap 'n' Stuff. We have been raising Lamancha dairy goats since 2002. By 2008 we had so much goat milk that we began looking for multiple ways of using it. We started experimenting with goat milk soap recipes. Milk soaps moisturize the skin and balance its natural pH. We eventually came up with a soap base that we could modify with different ingredients, in order to address different skin problems. That allowed us to produce seven different kinds of goat milk soap. People began asking to buy our soap locally, and it became so popular, we decided to offer it online.
We also have a small art studio on the farm. We have painted landscapes and portraits from photographs as gifts for friends and family. We will now offer that service to the public, too.
